Refund/Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be given or credit will be given for a future class, if written notification is received at least 24 hours before class is to begin.
Any course/class may be cancelled at the discretion of Texas Real Estate Institute. In the event of a cancellation, all fees paid will promptly be refunded in full or will be applied to another class at the registrant’s discretion.
Virtual Live Class Requirements
For courses through ZOOM - You are required to have equipment with camera and audio to participate.
To receive credit you must have your camera on at all times (except for breaks).
Appropriate attire is required.
Separation from class due to technical difficulties for more than 15 minutes will result in no credit, but participant will be allowed to reschedule at no charge.
If for some reason you lose connection, log back into the class as soon as possible. If the instructor is disconnected, please remain in the class and allow them to log back in.
Valid ID
All participants will need a Valid Drivers License to begin course. This will either be shown on camera when a ZOOM course or in person to the instructor or proctor at the start of class, and may be required after a break.
Course Participation
Students will be monitored for participation.
Performing other tasks on your equipment is not allowed during class time.
The instructor will provide time for breaks and lunch (where applicable)
At no time should the student log off during the class.
If you must step away from your computer for any reason, use the chat feature to let your monitor know.
Staff will not certify a participant for CE credit unless the student attends the entire course.
Partial credit will not be given for partial attendance. No makeups or written work will be allowed for CE credit.
Course Materials
Manuals for courses will be emailed to you before the beginning of class.
How fast can I get through the courses?
You need to spend at least as many hours in each course as the credit hours stated for the course, but you can’t spend more than 12 hours per day in the coursework.
Can I take Courses concurrently?
According to the Texas Real Estate Commission, students may only take 12 hours of qualifying education in a 24-hour period. It is possible to be enrolled in multiple classes at one time as long as the 12 hour requirement is adhered to.
